What is Hammer Gonna Do about Jay Z dissing him?!? Half Grilled/Half Bake Pork Chops, Mos Def signs to G.O.O.D. Music and Nick Cannon winning the EPIC FAIL OF THE DAY AWARD

HAMMER......PLEASE DON'T HURT' EM!

Please Hammer Dont Hurt Em

"And Hammer went broke so you know I’m more focused. I lost 30 mil so I spent another 30, 'cause unlike Hammer 30 million can’t hurt me.” - Jay Z

Lets focus here a minute....and laugh at the same damn time! LOL...This is officially still a joke to me. But I must say, I'm interested to see if anything will come out of this. But isn't that how Jay Z gets us all the time...interested?...But when it all unfolds, he doesn't respond or say anything. Well just as Beanie Sigel, Joe Budden, and most of the Dipset crew has tried in the past, I believe Hammer is going to take a stab at it. Long story short, Hammer wasn't too happy with Jay's verse to "So Appalled," so he took his frustrations out on Twitter..calling Jay Z "Hellboy" because of the whole illuminati crap. Rumor has it that Hammer has set out to prove that Jay is a devil worshiper. How? I have no idea. Especially since someone already came out with a video about a host of people in the music industry that's down with this illuminati thing. Good Luck Hammer....and please don't hurt Jay....LMAO!

MOS DEF SIGNS TO G.O.O.D. MUSIC

Mos Def

Congrats to the homie Mos Def for signing to Kanye West' label. I think this will be a good fit for him. It kinda reminds me of when Kanye snatched up Common and how much it revived his career. One thing is for sure, these CEOs are looking for more than just a person that can rap or sing. Nowadays, you have to know how to act as well. We all know that Mos Def is a pretty good actor and has starred alongside some major actors in the game as well as major films. If you didn't already know, Pusha T (of the rap group Clipse) has also signed with Kanye.

F.L.Y. RECIPE

HALF BAKED/HALF GRILLED PORK CHOPS

Fried Pork Chops
Fried Pork Chops

If you don't eat pork, then totally disregard this. But if you do, you might wanna pay attention because I never knew that anything could be so good by doing something so simple. I don't know about you, but I hear a lot of people always saying that they don't like to grill pork chops because they get too dry. Well, I think it's because you don't know how to cook them! If you leave pork chops on the grill to fully cook, they are definitely gonna be dry. But if you leave them on the grill for about 10-15 minutes, and then in the oven for the rest of the time, you probably would think you are about to eat a steak. I wanted to grill so bad last weekend because we had perfect weather...you know...with fall officially being here..it wasn't roasting outside. Anyway, the only frozen meat that was left in the fridge was some pork chops. Now to do this right, you must season them and let them soak overnight.

Here are the seasoning ingredients:

Nature's Seasoning
Pepper
Salt (just a pinch)

Dressing ingredients:

Olive Oil & Vinegar dressing (or Italian dressing)
Worchestershire sauce
Honey Mustard Dressing
Hot Sauce

To add even more flavor, you may want to chop you up some onions on your chops. As I said before, leave on the grill for about 10-15 minutes (no more, no less). Also, depending on the kind of charcoal you get, you may want to wait at least 25-30 minutes before putting your pork chops on so the fire can cool down (You don't want your chops to burn). After you take them off the grill, set your oven to about 225 (higher if you like) and cook for about 20-30 minutes (checking on them about every 10-15 minutes or so). For my side items, I always like to have a nice salad with it. If you're like me, it doesn't matter that cold weather is approaching, I'm still grilling. But for those who are about to put it up, make sure you try these chops first!

F.L.Y. EPIC FAIL OF THE DAY

Jay Z and MC Hammer Beef?! Bishop Eddie Long Fires Back.....at Church!....Jermaine Jackson has problems..and it's not his hair!

It almost seems like I said, "Happy Friday," yesterday. And now look, we are right back to Monday.....but Happy Monday anyways! I usually like to start my Mondays off with a rough hangover, the slave masters bothering me at work for something, and a few afternoon complaints about how my youngest little girl and her sister are getting on their mother's nerves (go figure). But this Monday?!? This Monday right here?!?!? (In my best Kat Williams impression)...I'm startin' it off right and finishin' it with a bang! LEGGO!

Bishop Fires Back!

Click the link below:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Bu66kUd4fQ

Now I'm already getting sick of this being in the media, especially because this guy is black and it's not one of those priests that we usually see getting accused of being all feely feely and touchy touchy with the boys. Bishop Eddie Long addressed the public and some of his 25,000 church members for the first time about these sex allegations that have surfaced in the last couple of weeks, involving three men, who were around 16 or 17 at the time of these allegations. You know what this reminds me of? And may he rest in peace, but MICHAEL JACKSON! Even if these allegations are proven to be true, the bishop who lives a lavish lifestyle and cruises around in Bentleys in the ATL will not receive any jail time and pay these little nat flies off. I mean, that's what they want anyway right, money. Good luck Bishop Long!

Say it Ain't So!

Jermaine Jackson has problems! And it's not his hair. Mr. "I like to be like Mike" claims he can't afford to pay on two of his kids child support, Jermajesty and Jaafar. Jackson claims his monthly salary is $1,100 and he's supposed to be paying $3,000 each for the two. Now the crazy part to this story is, Jermaine and his brother Randy have the same baby mama?!? So does that make their children cousins/brothers and sisters?...Who knows. But maybe it's time to chill with the hair products and make some more T.V. appearances or something! Good luck Jermaine!

Lil' Kim and her cousin opens a new hair salon in North Carolina.........WHO CARES!

WTF?!

MC Hammer

VS.

jay-zbottle

Of course I didn't believe this headline when I saw it...and honestly, you know Hov is the king of numbing all of his beefs down since he is of age now. Anyhow, I believe this all started in one of Hov's verses....to what song? That, I'm not sure of...but here is a couple of bars of what he said.

What Jay said:

"And Hammer went broke so you know I'm more focused / I lost $30 Mill so I spent another $30 'cause unlike Hammer $30 Mill can't hurt me"

What Hammer said on Twitter:

If anything comes out of this, it will be funny as hell.

Speaking of matchups.....Hunger For More 2 Vs. Pink Friday

Looks like Nicki Minaj will have a challenger in her corner on the day of her Pink Friday Nov. 23rd release. That's right....non other than one of my favorite MC's...Lloyd Banks. I don't see it as posing a major threat to Nicki because most of her sales will come from females, as most of Lloyd Banks' sales will come from males. But both albums should be good...there are a lot of high expectations for the two. I'm interested to see the first week sales after their release. Stay tuned! Good luck Lloyd and Nicki!

F.L.Y. Fail of the Day

Why does this chick look like she's pregnant in the face instead of the womb?! Mariah, are you pregnant or not?!?

COKE ALERT! COKE ALERT! COKE ALERT! COKE ALERT! COKE ALERT! COKE ALERT! COKE ALERT!

Tha Bawse Says:

Tha Bawse Ricky Rose shouted out all the big people that are gettin' some and says that the alleged sex tape video was definitely not him. But he also said that since the video dropped, he has been getting several offers from several different women wanting to get it on with tha Bawse. Last but not least, he said that the man and the woman in the video should thank him and send him a lil' check in the mail. BAWSE!

Wyclef Hospitalized

Aww man...this guy didn't even get to run a damn campaign and he got hospitalized from stress and fatigue! Clef, we know you love Haiti, but sit yo' Haitian azz down somewhere!

Happy Birthday Lil Tunechi!...(That's Lil Wayne)

He also released an EP digitally today called, "I'm not a human being"

Lyfe Gets a Lyfe Lesson....3 years in Prison! Rick Ross alleged Sex Tape?!?

HAPPY FRIDAY PEOPLE!
A good Friday comes to those who wait! And man! Has the news been flowing like water with rappers, actors....AND (drumroll please!)....Bishops! Anyway, lets get to it!

Lyfe Gets a Life Lesson....and sentenced to 3 years!

I must say, this guy has had a pretty interesting career. Being locked up in the pen for 10 years, getting out and becoming a platinum selling artist, then that's when it all went down hill. I'm not sure if it happened a year or two ago...but Lyfe went to his baby mama's crib and shot at the house several times, also leading authorities on a crazy police chase that led to his arrest. Funny thing is, right after his latest album gets released, and his song "Statistics" is getting crazy spins on the radio, the judge orders him to do 3 years in prison. The judge was serious on this one! He didn't even let homeboi go say goodbye to his kids; sent him straight to the slammer! At least he did apologize, but damn! Good luck Lyfe! Click below to see his court appearance.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WmhW7DmeCAI
BAWSE!....Has an alleged sex tape!?!

Personally, I don't think it's him, but all I wanna know is who is the chick in the video!? If you know me personally, you know I don't discriminate! I luv me some meat on the bones! AND...homegirl was doin' her thang in the video. Aside from that, it's kind of blurry. Also, Ross made a good point on his twitter page: "I see he had the Louie flag, but he forgot the tattoos #fail." In other words, dude has the body frame of Ross, but no visible tattoos like Ross. This was reported to first show up on 50 Cent's website "thisis50.com"...I think 50 lost that one...so he needs to leave Ross alone on this one if this is another one of his infamous pranks. Click the link below and be the judge of this yourself. BAWSE!

THE G-MACK INTERVIEW: WHO THE HELL IS G-MACK? "TOP QUALITY EVERYTHING, NO SHORT CUTS"

WHO THE HELL IS G-MACK: "TOP QUALITY EVERYTHING, NO SHORT CUTS"

On a sunny, 80-degree afternoon in Lexington, Ky., G-Mack is heading into a meeting on Monday to discuss details about his next party his company Lost Land Ent. will have in his hometown.
"I knew you were gonna call me right before I stepped in here," he said to me as he answered a call on his cell. "Don't you hate it when people call you and wait so long to ask you one question? All that talkin' and they just wanted to know if I wanted to still buy a bedroom suite."
This was the typical G-Mack I knew in high school. Better yet, the "Gerald Mack" I knew was always down for a good laugh or a joke, and pretty clever on his delivery.
I see nothing has changed in that department.
But what has changed is when you mention his name to others locally, throughout the region, and even down south, some major rap and r&b artists not only recognize his laid-back sense of humor, they recognize his talent and his grind in his music.
After winning Kentucky's Breakout Artist of the Year award at the Ozone Awards a few years back, rapper Freeway presented the award to him saying, "Damn! This man is everywhere!" (Both have a mutual friendship and Mack would eventually join Freeway on the road for eight months.)
I even ran up on a random chick in the streets the other day and just out of curiosity, asked her if she knew who G-Mack was. She replied, "Ain't he dat nigga dat got dat 'Get Naked' song wit' Bobby Valentino?"
I grinned and shook my head "yes."
It was only right that I asked a random guy after that the same question.
"His name sounds real familiar," He said. "I know he's from Kentucky, and I seen a couple of YouTube videos of him."
Aside from the few laughs we shared about the good ol’ high school days at Henry Clay, Mack remembers the days when the laugh and jokes were targeted at him for wanting to become a rap artist and owning his own record label. To his peers and others that were already in the music industry, Mack’s goals were far fetched and at a distance that seemed impossible to reach.
"I first started out just wanting to be a business man in the music industry," Mack said, during his college years at Kentucky State University. "The plan was getting some connections to do some internships in New York, but I actually ended up getting a record deal in 2002, a bullshit record deal."
Mack signed with Ideal Records, a record company out of Charlotte, N.C.
"I had a two-album deal, a $50,000 budget, and $5,000 in advance," he said. "Of course this sounds good when you in college and you super broke."
But in the midst of brainstorming and marketing for his debut project to be released, Mack said he realized he was way more involved on the business side than most artist usually are.
"Everything was lookin' good and feelin' right after we got the distribution deal. But as I started recording, I noticed that our distribution deal was bigger than what the record company could handle financially. Money is an important part of pushin' yourself, especially when you have no name at all. No one knew who G-Mack was, even people in my hometown.”
Being stuck in a two-album deal and not having enough money to put out his album, Mack took the $5,000 advance from the record company and threw his first party.
"Nobody was tryin' to play my music, so I thought this was a good business move and a perfect side hustle," he said.
That business move caught the eye of Mack's business partner, Tommy Stewart, who helped him get out of the two-album deal contract with Ideal Records, and eventually starting up their own label. After being released from his contract and no longer having a distribution deal, Mack created Lost Land Ent. He then formed his own street team and sold 3,500 copies of his first album "One Game to Another," out his trunk.
But just as Mack's first record deal took a turn for the worst and gave him a hard reality check, so did his first two-week promotion tour, which turned into one day.
With a van equipped with 5,000 vinyl records and posters, his first trip to Memphis made him turn around and re-think his entire game plan.
"I was at a record pool and DJ gathering," Mack recalled. "After I played my shit, you could hear crickets in the room!"
Finally, a DJ commented.
"No need in being nice, but somebody need to say it, this shit ain't gonna cut it."
After that, Mack said he finally started to get it.
"I listened to my record, then I would listen to a Ludacris record and say to myself, 'You know what, my shit don't sound like that.’ “After that, I took all of my records and posters and threw them in the trash. I had to start from scratch."
From there, the plan was to do everything right.
Whether it was better studios, better beats, Mack described his focus as "extreme" and unmatched by very few.
"I took it as a personal challenge to deliver a project that my city alone had never seen," he said. "I also wanted to be a household name in the region, so I paid a lil' extra money to get a better quality to sound nothing less than what I heard on the radio."
In more ways than even Mack himself could imagine, his drive motivated him into his first taste of success. He dropped the record, "Stunna Fool," which spread from a local to regional buzz.
"I got a response I couldn't ignore," Mack said. "First thing I wanted to do was go back to Memphis."
After playing the his new track for the same DJ that cut his first two-week promotion trip short, he gave Mack the thumbs up.
"G-Mack, that shit's bangin," the DJ said. "Matter of fact, you need to perform this for me in the club."
With 400,000 miles driven on his Expedition from many set-backs and disappointments, Mack hit the road and never looked back.
Off of the success of "Stunna Fool," Mack put out his first mixtape, "Hood Rich Won't Cut It," hosted by Bigga Rankin, President of Hittmen DJs and CEO and founder of the Cool Running DJs.

He went on to release three more mixtapes and release the single, "Get Naked," featuring Bobby Valentino.
"I became a mini record label, me and four people," Mack said. "We was so focused, I was like, 'How could it not work.'"
And with that said, the street team, Hit Squad Promotions, was no exception.
At BET's Spring Bling, they waited until three in the morning to sneak on the set and covered the stage with G-Mack posters.
"When all the artists that were performing came to rehearsal, they was like, 'Who the hell is G-Mack?"
But it's that kind of promotion and drive that has gotten him where he is today.
"What else might drive Mack," you might ask.
Family.
With an older brother and sister, mother, twin boys and a daughter, Mack says his family support has helped him take advantage of his opportunities in the music industry.
But make no mistakes, he enjoys being a father.
"I have custody of my daughter, and I love going to my sons football games and being that cheering parent that yells at the refs," he said. "I want to have two more, people think I'm crazy for saying that."
Mack is currently in the works of relaunching his label with a new system where he can move into a CEO position first, then artist.
"I'ma sign me a young cat and make it a lot easier on them than it was for me," he said.
When asked about his ultimate achievement and goal in the music industry, Mack simply replied, "I made money while havin' fun."
"I have a fun life in everything I do. Since I can remember, all I ever wanted to do was work for myself. Now that I surrounded myself with a team, I'm nowhere near done. It's nothing like doing what you love."

EXTRAS:

On Meeting Freeway:

G-Mack: I opened up for him once. Meeting him took me to another level. My grind was relentless.

On Meeting Bobby Valentino:

G-Mack: I ran into him at a music conference in New York. He sat at a VIP table right next to me. I was with a person who went to college with him that introduced us. I had the song, "Get Naked" on my phone and was about to go to Virginia and put Pleasure P on the record. Trey Songz denied it because it didn't fit his image at that time. So I played the song for him in a club. He listened and said it was alright. But when his manager listened to it, he told Bobby, "Stop paying attention to them girls and really listen to this record." From there, we went back to the studio and made it happen.

Have you experienced negative comments from former friends and others because of your success?

G-Mack: Hell yeah! If they knew how easy it was to talk to me, it would be different. Some people are gonna be intimidated by the raw truth, and some people respect it.

How do people approach you?

G-Mack: Some have said, "Wassup G-Mack, I'm the hardest in the state!".......If you was, you wouldn't have to tell me. A lot of people are more intimidated, but most won't even approach me. And when they do approach me, they are so busy boasting about themselves. When I approach someone, I do my homework. When the O.G.'s was around me, they taught me how to respect game.

How do you go about collaborating with someone?

G-Mack: I won't do a record that has an unrealistic shot. I won't do a song over a Drake beat. And I don't like to do features that I'm never gonna hear myself on again. No if and buts about it.

What advice would you give a young artist coming out of Kentucky who has aspirations of running their own company and remaining relevant as a rap artist?

G-Mack: I seen them come and go. The ones that I can name now, they won't be here next year. But to new artist, be honest with yourself, get a team and surround yourself with mentally and strong people who don't lie themselves. Use every tool that you got around and take it to the next step. Most importantly, focus in on one record, I can't say it enough, catch your brand up with the song.

UPDATE: Authorities saying incident likely a "Self-Defense" Shooting in the case of Lexington/Nicholasville native Daniel Covington

In the Investigation of Daniel Covington

Whether or not this case is self-defense, it still ended with someone getting killed. Someone's family member, a mother and a father's son...no matter what, they're gone. What I find it hard to take in these days is that people tend to use guns waaaaay too often for protection, rather than using their own physical capabilities. According to Lex18.com's website, Louisville authorities said that an incident that happened earlier before the shooting between Daniel Covington and the other two suspects sparked the shooting to happen. They are saying that because of that earlier altercation, Covington and a passenger of his tracked down the shooter's car at a stop light. Now these details are still pretty sketchy...but they said that a fight ensued when a man (which I think allegedly was Covington) got out of his car, lunged through an open passenger window of the shooter's vehicle and started fighting the shooter and his passenger. That's when the driver took out a gun and fired a single shot that went through the passengers hand, and into Covington's chest. Covington then stumbled across the street where police found him. Police also found the shooter and his passenger a short time later, headed to University Hospital. Both were said to have injuries to their faces. Lt. Barry Wilkerson had this to say about the incident they are considering self-defense:

"You have a right to protect yourself in your home, and that extends to your vehicle, too, I believe," Louisville Police Lt. Barry Wilkerson said.
I think that statement's bullshit. When you make a statement to the media, you have to be very careful. Especially with the media. Does he actually think that Covington's parents haven't heard, or won't look at his statement. Because of me being a reporter, I understand him. However, other people, especially Covington's family, don't give a damn about that. They lost a loved one. And unless Covington had a gun himself as well, then I can understand. But if Covington didn't have a gun and was fighting these guys on his own, he didn't deserve to have his life taken. There are other ways of handling a problem or a confrontation without taking one's life. As I said before, the details are still kind of sketchy with this one. But I'm sure everything will eventually come out. I just hope that the media or the police do not paint the wrong picture of Covington. My prayers and thoughts are with his friends and family.

Former U of L football Player and Nicholasville, Ky. native Daniel Covington shot and killed in Louisville, 21-year-old woman who got caught teaching her daughter how to smoke pot gets indicted on three charges, and more!

Thank God it's Thursday! But before I get into some crazy news, I'll get into some real news first.

R.I.P. Daniel Covington

I personally didn't know this young man, but the first thing when I logged onto facebook, just like twitter, he was a trending topic. Daniel Covington, 23, was shot and killed late last night in Louisville (my current living location) on S. Second and W. Liberty Streets. He attended Tates Creek High School in my hometown, Lexington, Ky. and walked on to the Louisville football team, eventually earning a scholarship and landing a position at safety. He graduated last year. Police arrived at the scene and found Covington shot multiple times. He later died at University hospital. Tom Jurich, University of Louisville's vice president and athletic director, sent out his prayers to Covington's family. Jurich had this to say in a press release:

"We are all shocked and deeply saddened to learn of this tragic event. It is very painful to see this happen to a member of our athletic family. We want to extend our deepest sympathies to Daniel's family and friends."
Police later interviewed a witness at the scene who provided good information, according to www.wlky.com's website. Detectives are interviewing two persons of interest, one who was also shot and being treated a hospital for minor injuries. Anyone with more information, please come forth and call (502) 574-LMPD. God chose Daniel to come home, for whatever reason, we don't know, but we do know that he is in good hands. Just remember one thing people, guns don't kill people, we do....think about that one. May you rest in peace my brother.

Now..........in other news:

The Trifling Mom: Jessica Gamble

Remember when I first gave you the news about this stupid 21-year-old mother getting caught by the police with video footage on her cell phone, capturing her 2-year-old daughter smoking weed. Well, she has been indicted on three felony charges, and they have released the video to the public. Charges include, corrupting another with drugs, child endangering and tampering with evidence. I really hope the law can come through and take this girl down. I don't see her getting custody of her child anytime soon. The video footage has her two-year-old daughter standing in front of the TV puffing on a blunt. You can also hear the mother make comments in the video such as: "Don't blow on it," and asking the lil' girl, "What's that." Oh yeah, she also has a few giggles in the process too. Apparently, police got hold to this video because it was forwarded to a witness, who was very disturbed by it. The Tampering with evidence charge stems from Gamble trying to delete the video from her cell phone. She faces 11 1/2 years in prison. Click the link below to check it out if you haven't already:

Weezy getting the Royal Treatment in Jail!?!

If this is true, it shouldn't be a surprise. Sources are saying that Weezy is like an Italian mobster in jail who lives V.I.P. style on Rikers Island with restaurant deliveries and other good treats. An unnamed source claims that Wayne's guests get car service and other treatments that other inmates don't get. My guess is that this could be a jealous inmate. People who work at the jail have been said to bring Weezy food from Jackson Hole restaurant and a local pizzeria. Also, tipping him off when he is going to be searched. I'm starting to believe that part of these allegations are true for the fact that he got caught with an iPod within his first few months. A female was fired from Rikers after being accused of gawking all over Wayne. She plans to file a lawsuit against the department of corrections. However, non of these allegations have been proven, nor have they changed Weezy's release date in November. This story can go both ways. I remember when T.I. got locked up and they had to seclude him from staff and other inmates because of his celebrity status and so many staff members trying to hand him cds and other stuff. Good luck with the allegations Rikers!

Kanye West planning to drop a 40-minute film of his second single

Kanye West

If you haven't heard already, Kanyeezy is shooting the music video for the song "Runaway," a track featuring the Clipse's Pusha T (who recently got signed to West' label). Not only is it a music video, but he's turning it into a 40-minute film. Sometimes I wish I could get inside people's heads so I can actually know what they're thinking or understand them better. West is a creative dude, but sometimes, he goes a little bit too far. But we still seem to love it. Here's a comment he said about the video, which is supposed to have him fall in love with a phoenix, lol:

"It’s the story of a phoenix fallen to Earth, and I make her my girlfriend, and people discriminate against her and eventually she has to burn herself alive and go back to her world. I’ve been feeling the idea of the phoenix. It’s been in my heart for a while. It’s maybe parallel to my career. I threw a Molotov cocktail on my career last year, in a way, and I had to come back as a better person." Good luck Kanye!

Nas to set to drop "The Lost Tapes" Vol. 2

nasarticle.jpg

Yo! If you haven't heard "The Lost Tapes" Vol. 1. I would strongly recommend you to get it first before you listen to Vol. 2. It's that damn good! It's a mixture of unreleased tracks from Nas recorded between 1998 and 2001. Nas said he will release Vol. 2. Dec. 14.

Trey Songz has friends come on 106&Park to bragg about himself and new album

Trey Songz attends Young Jeezy’s birthday celebration

Anybody see Trey Songz pull a Lebron James on 106&Park yesterday? Dude is a talented brotha and definitely has his way with the ladies. HOWEVER, Atlantic Records took it to a whole other level with this bright marketing scheme they did for Trey to do some good numbers. He made his appearance on 106&Park and had several celebrities such as Serena Williams, Amar'e Stoudemire, Diddy, and even couple of phone calls from Nicki Minaj and Drake. All of these celebs had a to answer a question that was always thrown out by Rocsi and Terrance: "So what do you think about Trey Songz as an artist?" Just like Lebron's decision that aired on ESPN.....marketing wise, very smart, to watch on TV....not good at all...except for the ladies, of course. Good luck Trey!

Mya signed to G-Unit!?!

Mya-music-tt01.jpg
Damn! If Game hit that, I'm jealous as hell! Anybody that hit that, I'm jealous as hell! But hittin' that isn't the subject. Rumors are surfacing that Mya has become the newest member G-Unit. Haven't seen anything on thisis50.com about this. So I'm gonna need some more confirmation. Will she do good as a G-Unit artist? Hmmm? Good luck baby...I mean...Mya!

Hoopz and Shaq engagement confirmed through Twitter?!?

Is Hoopz engaged to Shaquille O'Neal?

Hoopz confirms engagement to Shaquille O'Neal

I still don't know about this one....hmmm??? She could just be playing along with it.

Can this be a successful comeback for 50?

Telling the Whole Truth

I love the way you lie. How you can just stand there and not take criticism about yourself amazes me.
I love the way you pretend to act like a city girl, but yet you are from the country.
I love it when you get drunk and tell me how much I mean to you and how much you love me.
I love it when you wake up and half-way don't realize what you said or did the night before.
I love how you contradict yourself when you say don't talk or compare your past with the present, but somehow, you do with me.
I love how you wanna change and be saved, but yet still continue to do the opposite.
I love how you pretend your serious comments and questions are meant to be funny and taken as a joke.
I love the way your mind thinks the worse and how you assume the worse.
I guess I just love the way you lie.
F.L.Y. Food
Spicy Chicken, Sausage and Bean Pot
Picture of Spicy Sausage, Chicken and Bean Pot Recipe
I love brats...first and foremost...I came across Johnsonville New Orleans sausage the other day in Krogers and man! It's like crack! This is one of my favorite recipes...courtesy of food network. I would strongly recommend using Johnsonville's New Orleans sausage in this recipe. Now I'm not the one for spicy foods, but this had only a lil' kick to it...which was enough for me.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, 2 turns of the pan
  • 3/4 pound bulk Italian hot sausage
  • 3/4 pound, 1 package, andouille sausage, cut into 1-inch lengths on an angle
  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into large chunks
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 large onion, quartered and thinly sliced
  • 2 carrots, shredded
  • 3 to 4 ribs celery from the heart, thinly sliced
  • 1 fresh bay leaf
  • 2 (15-ounce) cans white cannellini beans
  • 5 to 6 fresh sage leaves, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 2 cups chicken stock
  • 1/2 loaf baguette
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • A handful fresh parsley sprigs, left whole
  • 3 to 4 sprigs fresh thyme, left whole

Directions

Heat a Dutch oven over medium-high heat with extra-virgin olive oil. Crumble the Italian sausage into large pieces, add to Dutch oven and begin to brown, about 2 to 3 minutes. Add the andouille and crisp at edges, 2 to 3 minutes. Remove browned sausages to a paper towel lined plate and add chicken, season with salt and pepper. Lightly brown chicken a couple of minutes on each side then add veggies and bay leaf, add more salt and pepper and cook 7 to 8 minutes more to soften veggies. Add sausages back to the pan along with the beans and sage. Deglaze with wine and stir in the stock.

Turn broiler on and set rack in the middle of the oven.
Coarsely chop the bread in food processor into large crumbs, remove blade and toss with melted butter (it melts in 15 seconds in microwave) and the parsley, thyme, salt and pepper. Cover the sausage and chicken with bread and set in oven to brown 2 to 3 minutes. Serve directly from the pot. Keep an eye out for that bay leaf and sprigs!

More News on Floyd Mayweather, Chelsea Handler's leaked Sextape?!?, Shaq and Hoops really engaged!

More News on Floyd

Well it seems like an NBA basketball players name has surfaced on a police report regarding the recent incident between boxing champ Floyd Mayweather and the mother of three of his children, Josie Harris. This incident eventually landed Floyd in jail and forced him to pay $3,000 for his bail last Friday. Who's the basketball player? C.J. Watson, guard who plays for the Chicago Bulls. To make a long story short, Harris has alleged that Floyd took her iPhone and discovered that Harris and Watson had been communicating. This got Floyd mad, so he allegedly....I say ALLEGEDLY!....his her, grabbed her by the hair, then threatened Harris and Watson, saying that he would make both of them "disappear." Apparently, Floyd also asked her if she has been having sex with Watson, and she admitted to it. HOWEVER, Watson...of course, is denying any type of relationship with Harris. Hell, even Watson's father chimed in and said that Harris has only done some event planning for Watson's son (yeah right!). Really, I don't feel sorry for any of these adults involved. I feel sorry for the children. Yes, we all have that "baby mama" or "baby daddy" that we love...and that we love to hate. But a little word of advice, do what you want, but set a good example in front of your children. This incident between Floyd and Harris supposedly happened shortly after Floyd put $200 underneath his daughter's pillow for a lost tooth. Now he is being charged with grand larceny for taking Harris' phone. Domestic battery charges are still pending, I believe. Good luck Floyd's kids!

 I Wonder............

I wonder what Lady Gaga smelled like in all this meat!?!? SMH...

And I also wondered..........................

What she smelled like! Way better than Lady Gaga, I bet!

Are these two really gettin' married?!?

All kinds of reports are surfacing about these two shackin' it up...but it hasn't even been confirmed if they are a couple or not. Stop with the rumors, and more with the truth on this one, please! And how does Shaq's big 7-foot, 300-pound ass be pullin' these short good-lookin' petite women? I guess he does got skills!

Nick isn't giving up!
nickcannon.jpg
Nick, Eminem responding to you....is almost like you reading my blog! Nick decided to send out a tweet going in at Em and late night talk show host, Chelsea Handler. Like I said, I don't think Em will respond to this Tom Foolery....but he might get a word or two out of Chelsea! Good luck Nick!

F.L.Y. Epic Fail of the Day!
CNN-toddler-smoking-pot_20100914044019_1_JPG This is actually a true story that came from the associated press in Cincinnati. A 21-year-old woman was arrested after police witness a video on her cell phone that captured her teaching her two-year-old daughter how to smoke marijuana. Jessica Gamble has been charged with corrupting another with drugs. She still remains in jail where her bond has been set at $10,000. She was arrested Friday. Authorities said the case will be presented to the grand jury to determine the nature and the scope of the charges. The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services has removed the little girl from Gamble's care. Folks, I can't say whether it's the things we see, hear on tv, or listen to, but there is absolutely no excuse for this. We are not talking about a baby over some other country that likes to smoke cigarettes. We are talking about giving a two-year-old child drugs and not giving a damn about the welfare of their health. WAKE UP PEOPLE! My guess is, they will probably go light on her. What do you think?

Guess Who Show up at the MTV VMA's together???????
Taraji celebrates with Drake and Mary J. Blige
Can you believe that Taraji P. Henson is 40?!? Damn, Drake, I support you on this one...older women definitely know best! And if you still think he and Nicki Minaj got married, go kill yourself!

Chelsea Handler joining the Celebrity Sex Tape Club

You remember when Brittney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera were all on the Mickey Mouse Club together? Well it's no different nowadays with the porn business and celebrities. A little something I like to call the "Celebrity Sex Tape Club." Past club members include Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton and a host of other celebrities. Now I'm getting word that talk show host Chelsea Handler is becoming the next member. The story leaked a little bit before or after the MTV VMA's happened, which she was a host of. Chelsea claimed that it was just a joke and part of her routine as she was trying to get into comedy. However, people who have already seen clips of this video said that it sure doesn't look like a joke!  Good luck Chelsea! I love you cause you like black men...well...maybe only in comedy! I'm not even gonna lie, there's something about Chelsea that makes me.....................we'll leave that one alone! But here is a pic of her below in the alleged sextape....Good luck Chelsea! And I mean it!

Take it back!

About Me

My photo
Mr. Elvis Freshley
I am a journalist at the Courier-Journal in Louisville, Ky. I took an interest in journalism during high school when I landed a small internship at the newspaper company my father worked at (Lexington Herald-Leader)..from there, I was blessed and fortunate enough to receive a full scholarship to play college football at Western Kentucky University, where I also majored in journalism, with a minor in sociology. During college, I recorded my first mixtape and landed my first record deal in 2008 with Ice Age Records (what a waste of time, lol) and my first job as a reporter at the Herald-Dispatch in Huntington, W.Va. (what an experience, lol). Currently, I am taking my own direction in specializing in arts & entertainment reporting dealing with high to the highest and lowest profiled athletes, actors/actresses, and music industry. My reporting will also consist of the latest fashion and soul food recipes coming from local and national chefs.
