Peezy: The Life & Times of Mr. Elvis Freshley (Not your ordinary rapper) PART 2

You were still living in Bowling Green, Ky. after college, right?
Peezy: Yea I graduated and got my journalism degree in 2005. But I stayed in Bowling Green for about another year or two after that.
Did you want to stay in Bowling Green?
Peezy: Naw. My life had took a turn for the worse when I blew an opportunity that I had for an internship right after graduation.
Can you talk about it?
Peezy: Yea man, I don't have anything to hide at all because I'm not fake. I think a lot of people that don't know me, or think they know me, get the wrong perception a lot. What I do and how I function around my job and my family is strictly professionalism and respect for my family members. But how I function outside of those two is the way I really am and where I feel most comfortable.
So what was the opportunity you had after graduating from WKU?
Peezy: I'm not gonna put out any company names, but it was a newspaper in Atlanta, Ga. where I was offered a paid internship, which can sometime lead to an immediate hiring of a full time job after the internship. Anyway, I blew that opportunity because I was making poor choices in my life at that time. That's when I really put my music in front of my career and began to live recklessly.
What was so recklessly about your life at that time?
Peezy: For one, I had a daughter with my high school sweetheart around our sophomore year in college (she went to the same college as me.) So after I graduated and blew my opportunity with the internship, I felt like I didn't have a pot to piss in. I didn't have a job. I moved into my girlfriend's apartment at that time and was really searching to find myself. I quit doing music because I wasn't getting paid for anything. Most of all, I didn't have any way of supporting my daughter at that time other than her mother, her family and my family. Sometimes I would just ride out in the middle of nowhere at night and just sit in my car, contemplating on what my next move was gonna be.

So what brought you out of this funk, or how did you get back on your feet?
Peezy: Easy, my parents. Regardless of what I was doing at that time, they never gave up on me. It's like when a person is on their deathbed in the hospital and the only thing they have left to support them or be there for them in their time of need is their family. My family didn't turn their back on me. My girlfriend at the time was very supportive and even helped me find a steady job in Bowling Green at the time. I had a lot of doubters, but I had more supporters that were there for me in the time I needed them.

How did your parents help you out?
Peezy: Well after they told me about myself, (laughs), they would always give me that encouragement and belief that I needed to know that I can get myself out of this situation. And I definitely know it was their prayers as well.

At what point did you land back on your feet again?
Peezy: It was when I got my first reporting job in Huntington, W.Va. at a newspaper there. I felt like I was on top of the world because things were finally going right. My girl at the time was still finishing school after she decided to go back, I could finally support my daughter now, and I was doing it all by myself. Couldn't nobody tell me nothing. Because my girl had to finish school, I had to live by myself in Huntington for about six months, and that's when I decided to get back into music.

Was this when you started getting back in the studio and recording again?
Peezy: Yep. This person I worked with who was real big into music introduced me to a producer there name Michael Crawford, who went by Mr. Mike.

How was your first encounter with him?
Peezy: I was nervous as hell! I didn't know him from anywhere and he didn't know me, so it was kinda weird at first. We went into the studio and started listening to beats he made, I gave him a few tracks, then one of his boys was like, "If yo' shit nice man, he'll give you a beat." So I spit a few bars and the rest was history.

Was that the closest you had ever worked with a producer before?
Peezy: Well, for what I was trying to do, yes. For me, it was more about the chemistry we had, and the fact that I wasn't your ordinary rapper. I can honestly say that, I don't think Mike ever met a journalist who worked at his local newspaper and was tryna rap at the same time. I'm a different kind of person, special and unique all that the same time, ya dig?

Stay tuned for the conclusion of my three-part interview with Peezy as he continues to get more in depth with his past and present relationships, the dating life, and where he stands at now with his music and journalism career.

Peezy: The Life & Times of Mr. Elvis Freshley (Not your ordinary rapper) PART 1

It's about 2:30 p.m. on a Friday and cold as hell in Louisville, Ky. This is my first time actually interviewing a rapper that works at a newspaper. But I wouldn't just call him a rapper. He's a father of three girls, a journalist and hustles hard to seek his own ventures and entrepreneurship. His alias is Peezy, now known to a lot of his peers as Mr. Elvis Freshley. In other words, he's not your ordinary rapper. In the first part of his interview, Peezy breaks down on how he started his music career and his family life as a youth. Stay tuned for Part 2.
When did you become interested in rapping?
Peezy: I just haven't been interested in rapping, I've been interested in music nearly my entire life. The inspiration came from my mother and father having me and my sister sit with them on Friday nights and playing their old records on a record player.
What kind of old records would they play?
Peezy: Just about anything you can think of. From the first stages of hip hop with the Sugar Hill Gang, to funk music such as George Clinton and Lakeside, to r&b albums like Angela & Rene, S.O.S. Band and Mtume. There would even be a couple of rock albums in there to, like Rare Earth and Aerosmith. I didn't just listen to the music, but I really studied all of these artists craft. That's why I appreciate all kinds of music till' this day, except country! (Laughs)
So when did you decide to pick up a mic?
Peezy: I didn't pick up a mic at first, I picked up a pen and pad and started writing poetry when I was in the fourth of fifth grade. My mother took me to church and the kids had to write something they learned about Jesus, kinda like an essay paper and present it to the parents. Well I figured since I liked music so much, I should just try to make my essay rhyme. I read my poem/essay in front a crowded church and they all applauded and thought it was creative. Don't ask me if I remember what it was or how to recite it! And my parents probably don't even remember this!  But it that eventually drew me to pick up a mic and rap.
Do you remember writing your first song?
Peezy: Of course, my family moved to Lexington, Ky. when I was in the fifth grade and I had a girlfriend named Nicki who I was really crazy about at the time. I was young, but girls constantly stayed on my mind. Back then they had the cassette singles where they would have the instrumentals on the B side. I just started rapping about how much in love I was with her and all this other silly stuff. I guess you can call that an unreleased track because I never performed it or anything, it was just for kicks.
Did you ever release anything in high school music-wise?
Peezy: Hell no! I was too busy into girls, football, and being one of the popular kids at school. I mainly just wrote poetry, but I already had my future planned out with getting a football scholarship to Western Kentucky University and becoming a journalist.  My senior year in high school was a breeze. I skipped just about everyday, but the teachers wouldn't mind. They were cool, long as I turned in my work. My parents never really knew about it because I covered it up so well.

Tell me about your lifestyle at home and how your family was when you were growing up in Lexington.
Peezy: I had strict parents man. I'm talking about, we lived in a nice neighborhood and everything but a nigga still had to come in when them street lights came on. It was crazy because most of my friends were from single parent homes, or lived in the east end and Woodhill areas. I was never really exposed to their lifestyles because mine was so different. They knew it too. But they still accepted me because I didn't act like an Uncle Tom or anything. And what you have to understand is, I lived in Alexandria, Va. prior to moving to Kentucky. When we first moved, I couldn't stand Kentucky! The people talked too damn country for me, and the state itself wasn't as fast paced as to where I was from. But you know, it grew on me.

So would you say that you had it made because you didn't go through what some of your friends went through as far having both parents in the house and living in the suburbs?
Peezy: Hell no again! I looked at them like they had it made! I was the one who couldn't stay out at all times of the night, be out in the hood with the niggas I went to school with. But don't get it twisted, I was very appreciative of what my parents had accomplished in order for me and my sister to live comfortably. They loved hard, and still do till this day and I thank them so much for that because it has kept me grounded. Those friends that I hung out with didn't see my parents struggle with $200 or $300 and a couple of suite cases moving to Columbus, Ga. with a two-year-old son. They didn't live in a trailer with a room the size of a half bathroom. But it was all my parents had at the time and they made the best of it. To see them move from a trailer, apartment, townhouse, and finally to a house, that's a blessing man. So I really don't give a damn about being from the north, east, west, or south side of Lexington. My parents worked hard to get us where we were in Lexington so it's all good.

So when did you start having success rapping?
Peezy: When I went to college.

How did you do it?
Peezy: Back then I was known as Twon P, and a group of us football players started recording ourselves in a dorm room. I however, took it more serious and came out with my own mixtape. From there, I bought a bunch of blank cd's and had a bunch of chicks copy them. Next thing you know, I heard my music being played in some of the campus parking lots and even started getting phone calls from anonymous people that wanted to get a copy of my cd. I knew I was on to something then.

Stay tuned for Part 2 as Peezy gets more in debt with his music career, his relationships with females, his daughters and being a journalist.

New Young Money member being added to the roster, Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey expecting twins, Shaq dumping Hoopz and more!

Wutz good my peoplez! Happy Friday to my followers, non-followers, haters and non-haters. Okay, now that I got that out of the way, let me say that the KY's weather is still on FREEZE control! And this doesn't help me out at all because I have to go Christmas shopping in this with two of my kids. One who I know will get at least one ass whoopin per store!

Enough about this me and this weather.....NEWS FLASH: Soulja Boy has been found! The tatted up teeny bopper has make his triumphant return to twitter! And he let us all know by tweeting this:

SBISBACK.jpgdfd
Word is...lil' homie's been flying around the world or something. And he won't return any of my insulting tweets! My feelings are so hurt, lol.

SAY IT AIN'T SO!
There have been some rumors circulating around that Shaq has dropped former Flavor Flav reality TV star Hoopz. Don't know how true it is, but I do know that Shaq keeps him a bad chick at all times!

TWINS!

While Nick Cannon has been looking like a cancer patient lately with his bald head and pubic facial hair, he announced that he and wifey Mariah Carey are expecting twins. Congrats to the couple. I still got $100 on it that you guys will be long-term!

WEEZY GIVING BACK
http://blog.oregonlive.com/houseoffame/2008/09/LilWayneAP.JPG
Even though he says he's "not a human being," rapper Lil Wayne showed us he still has some drops of human blood in him by purchasing a wheelchair for one of his fan's mother. The fan wrote him several letters of encouragement while he was incarcerated at Rikers. People may say, "Why didn't he do more for her with all that money?" First off, I haven't heard of any rapper who's been locked down to do this for an individual. Second, the fan didn't even ask him in any of her letters to do this. He called the fan personally and asked if her family had already purchased a wheelchair for her mother because of her disability. Wayne, I know you are not human, but the ounce of human that you do have left in you, is really good. I applaud you Weezy! Click on the link below to see the fan and her mother:

MORE WEEZY NEWS:
The Young Money CEO announced recently that another artist will be soon added to the Young Money roster. Delete rapper Corey Gunz out of your mind because he has been signed to Young Money for a while now. Forget Lloyd because he wanted to stay with Interscope and not go over to universal. My guess is:
http://music.spreadit.org/pics/Chris-Brown.jpgThat's right, Chris Breezy! And remember, I'm not confirming anything and have no idea who Wayne is talking about. But if I were to take a stab at it, it would be Chris Brown. He and Young Money artist Jae Millz recently posted a new video called "Green Goblin" together and the song goes hard! Breezy has also done other collaborations with other Young Money/Cash Money artists, including close friend Bow Wow. We'll see if I'm right or not sometime soon!

I WHIP MY HAIR BACK AND FORTH! WE DIDN'T START THE FIRE!

Looks like Diddy's "Last Train To Paris" party at Hotel London in New York got a lil' bit out of hand. Comedian Kevin Hart, R&B singer Trey Songz and others were among guests who witnessed a model's hair catch fire in the hot tub. It wasn't funny, it was very funny! I wouldn't have laughed if she was really injured. Check the clip out below:

SOMEBODY PULLED A LEFT EYE ON A SHYNE'S SUV!
http://www.mtv.com/news/photos/s/shyne_court_091023/01_shyne.jpgI don't know what happened, but somebody set Shyne's SUV on fire over in Vista Del Mar. However, Shyne was not in the SUV or even in the country. He's still over in Israel doing something (who knows). I wonder if anybody is out to get Shyne, or is this just a plain act of arson? Here's a pic of the truck below:

MS. JADE TALKIN' *ISH ABOUT MISSY AND TIMBALAND?
http://photo.sing365.com/music/Image.nsf/Ms-Jade-image/C0406F15D6706FA048256E1D002C35E0/$file/nfuhup933.jpg
We all know about the recent beef between Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj. Kim claiming that Nicki is a "swagger jacker." Well, Ms. Jade, artist that used to be signed to Timbaland worked closely with Missy Elliott, claims that Missy stole her swag too! And she didn't have anything positive to say about Timbo either. My only question to this is, when was the last time you had a song released on the radio Ms. Jade? Click on the link below if you wanna hear this tom foolery:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YPaGaCD14xs

IN ORDER TO STAY RELEVANT, FIRST YOU DO A DISS SONG, THEN YOU DO A VIDEO!
http://www.kalamu.com/bol/wp-content/content/images/lil%20kim%2004.jpg
Speaking of swagger jacking and things, Lil Kim has decided to come out with a video to her diss song about Nicki Minaj. I'm thinking this could be a good marketing scheme for her old ass, but at the same time, this can also bury her. The positive thing is this: Kim is trying to stay in the limelight because she's in denial about being out of it. Therefore, the video will get plenty of views to make her stay afloat. The negative is this: I don't see this video being shown on BET, MTV or any other thing that Nicki has since accomplished. It's kinda like a Sandford & Son truck trying to keep up with a Lambo, not a chance. Sorry Kim, we loved you then, we love you now, but stop with this already!

Rapper Waka Flocka's house raided by Atlanta police, DMX heads back to prison to serve one year

Wutz good my peoples?!? I don't know where you're at, but snow and ice has taken over the KY! And speakin' of ice, lets connect that to BURR! Which can connect to Gucci Mane, who connects to Waka Floka! Get it? If you don't, then let me tell you what went down with these two in the ATL. The police raided Flocka's crib in search for drugs, weapons, and evidence of some prostitution. Flocka wasn't there at the time, but police have issued a warrant for his arrest. Gucci, who I'm guessing was apparently there, was arrested, and so were two other men who were at Flocka's crib. So with this big sting going on, all the police found were two guns, an possession of less than an ounce of weed. WTF? Gucci was released with no charges against him, but the other two men were caught the possession charges. The point of it all, NOTHING! Chances are that Waka will likely turn himself in to address the charges and be cleared. And there's one thing we know for sure.........somebody is snitching big time.

 SAD NEWS FOR X

Well it looks like the hip hop police have made their return at the end of 2010. DMX was sentenced to one year in prison in Arizona (where they make you where Pink uniforms). And what's messed up even more about it is that homie is turning 40 in two days! Word is, he was on probation for attempted aggravated assault and using a fake name to avoid paying a hospital bill. X was also set to make his comeback to the game after him and Swizz Beats hooked up again for a track.

RAPPERS....local and nationally, please watch ya back, the hip hop police are BACK! First Lil' Wayne went in, then right when he came out, T.I. went back in, Ja Rule just got sentenced to two years, X is going back in, and they tried to catch the 1017 Bricksquad crew slippin. Can you connect the dots?

Tuesday, December 14, 2010

Where's Soulja Boy? Diddy speaks on Kim and Nicki Beef, Ja Rule sentenced to two years in Prison, Yo Gotti facing some serious charges and More!!!

Wutz good folks! Christmas time is near and honestly, I can't wait to be around my family for the holidays. Lord knows it's been a long year, but I have so much to be thankful for. Sorry I've been slacking a little bit. But sometimes, it's hard when you are your own number one supporter and doing a blog, mixtape, scratchin' off dead skin from a recent relationship AND....taking care of three kids. Ahhhh! Yep..that'll make ya want a vacation.

There has been a lot of celeb news going on within the past couple of months. I'm talking from leaked videos, twitter beefs, hook-ups, break ups and everything else you can imagine. It's hard to pick a starting place but the first round draft pick shall be (drum roll).........SOULJA BOY!

HAVE YOU SEEN SOULJA BOY?!?

Since releasing his latest album and selling a disappointing 14,000 copies in its first week, Soulja Boy has disappeared from twitter and other websites. The latest post I've seen was him and his chubby ass hype man/bodyguard/servant doing the stupid ass "cat daddy" dance in some sort of hotel room or something. No words, no thoughts, just dancing. Now I'm definitely not saying that this is gonna be the end of Soulja Boy. But I will say this, everybody and everything gets old at some point. I remember doing a special blog about this young guy explaining how he has transitioned from the clean cut teen everybody knew, to the Gucci Mane-like imitator who thinks he can freestyle and actually put that shit on wax. It works! But only for a while. Since him and 50 are close. Maybe 50 should tell him to take a break from albums and primarily produce until his team can come up with a better strategy. Since he's cool with Cash Money/Young Money, maybe Baby or Wayne need to tell him that he should just come out with singles, not albums. And I can honestly not blame this one on Kat Stacks. She has been well connected with other rappers in the industry and didn't hurt their marketing schemes or sales one bit. Good luck....SOLDIER! (In Soulja Boy's voice)

JA RULE GETS TWO!

It's plain and simple, if you're a rapper, DO NOT BRING GUNS TO NEW YORK OR GET EDUCATED ON THE LAWS! Even though he hasn't entertained us with his raspy rugged singing/rap voice in years since 50 closed his casket (I still like ya Ja!), he pleaded guilty to a 2007 gun charge after leaving a concert and received a two-year sentence. The ironic thing to this is, this was the same concert and the same day that Lil' Wayne got caught and took his charge, which eventually led him to spend eight months on Rikers. Are the hip hop police making a comeback? Well, the story doesn't end there. Fresh off of pleading for a two-year bid, the mc was rumored to have a twitter beef with 50 Cent after 50 tweeted some humorous comments about Ja's situation. However, we don't know how many tweets were in fact from Ja because his account got HACKED! Obviously, we knew it was hacked when he started sending messages apologizing to 50 Cent.

GEORGE CLINTON TO SUING THE BLACK EYED PEAS

george-clinton.jpg

Now if you are familiar with the network TVOne's series of "Unsung," then you will understand where the creator of funk is coming from. George Clinton has been taken advantage of with his music and other artists sampling it for several years and not paying him. Well, the legend has wised up over the years and has some attorneys that are gunning for the Black Eyed Peas. The multi-million dollar lawsuit comes stems from the pop group's 2003 song "Shut Up." The suit claims that the group stole samples of Clinton's 1979 hit "Knee Deep." And that's not all, the funkmaster is claiming that someone forged his signature on a document that said it would allow the group to use it. George Clinton should be a billionaire right now if all these rappers would have paid their dues to him. Good luck George!

YO GOTTI VS. OG BOO DIRTY (THE MEMPHIS CHRONICLES)

To Gotti

Word is tha homie Yo Gotti is facing some serious charges after Memphis police have connected him with an altercation at a local club that left at least six people injured of gunshot wounds. He turned himself in Dec. 13. I heard this happened at a club called Level II, where Gotti and another Memphis rapper, OG Boo Dirty were exchanging words, which ended up being a brawl between both camps. This eventually led to someone pulling a gun and shooting. I don't know who this OG Boo Dirty guy is, but he must have a pretty fearful reputation around Memphis. According to the Memphis Commercial Appeal, homie is already facing two separate murder charges from September and aggravated arson. This will be interesting. I'll keep ya posted!

Here is a pic of what OG Boo Dirty looks like:

BEANIE SAYS THAT DAME STOLE $100 MILLI FROM HIM

Back when the Roc was poppin' like Death Row back in the days, Beans was my favorite comin' outta Rocafella. To see where he is now really hurts because a rapper with all his talent has been left by the waste side or either to be recycled. He has been takin' advantage of in every way. From being locked up, coming out with no record company to really come home to, his entrepreneurship stripped from him, and 50 Cent using him as a puppet to spark up his own market scheme. I hate to see Beanie like this. But you be the judge: click the link below:

DIDDY CHIMES IN ON NICKI MINAJ VS. LIL KIM (AKA Young Iron Mike Tyson vs. Old Flabby Larry Holmes)

Diddy sat down at Hot 97 with Funkmaster Flex and weighed in on the Lil Kim and Nicki Minaj fiasco. I will say that Puff made some good points. But what I can't understand is, Lil' Kim has made negative comments about you, but yet you still wanna praise her as the Queen and saying that you still love her no matter what? That must be real love Puff. But what can you say, he's Puff Daddy bitches! Click the link below:

WALE TO SIGN TO MAYBACH MUSIC?

535806262_l.jpg

Now I first got word of this through Wale's twitter account. I noticed numerous tweets about big plans he had coming up and then possibly signing to Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group. He has been in the studio with Ross as well, so I don't know what could come out of this. It's weird to me write now, just doesn't seem like a good fit. Kinda seems like when Bow Wow first signed to Cash Money Records. That had to wear on me a bit, but it has. So if this is true, I'm sure it will too. Good luck Wale!

F.L.Y. RECIPES (CLUB PANINI)

world's most expensive sandwich

There's all kinds of different ways to make a club and different versions of a club sandwich. Since losing a lot of excess weight I had gained after my college days, I still like to pig out, but only in a healthier way. I love using flatbread because you get to taste the bulk of your meat and ingredients instead of a bunch of bread. I have pictured here a nice double-layer club sandwich fill with mayo, turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce and tomato. Fellaz, I would suggest eating this on a nice Sunday with lots of football games going on. Or even a Saturday for college games. Just make sure you're somewhere in a place where you can sit down and let this baby digest!

F.L.Y. POETRY (TIRED OF STRESSIN')

Reacts About Anxiety
I'm tired of dying and coming back to the same life over and over again.
I mean, can't this one time I have things go my way and celebrate with a win?
Or is that too much to ask based on all the stipulation,
Issues with relationships, my faith, religion and bitter ass unsuccessful people hatin'.
Whoever thought that I would put myself in this position, now I've invited all kinds of bad habits such as insomnia and drugs to come into my addiction.
I once had a woman who never really bothered to listen, that I had faults in my past, but I'm a good man now, so why the fuck is she still trippin'?
If I had good luck, I'd still be fallin', but I have bad luck so I guess I'm just slippin'. Who knows where I'll end up pimpin, maybe somewhere way on the other side where it's peaceful and no mention, of my faults, my rights, my wrongs, DAMN I'm gettin' tired of singin' the same ol' song!
The word "unhappy" has been in my vocabulary for way too long.
I'm tired, so when you close the casket this time, put the nail in the coffin. Cause rising from the dead and coming back to this bullshit happens way too often.
So many second chances we take for-granted, and when you become lost on that lonely road, life is really hard to manage.
So if I'm falling down, don't extend ya hand, I've already taken it before and done the best with it that I can.

Kurtis was tryna BLOOOOOOW!

liveDEMO-275.JPG

Hip Hop pioneer and legend Kurtis Blow was busted with some weed at the LAX earlier this morning, according to TMZ reports. It was only less than an ounce, so he just got ticketed. But I do remember Kurtis' song back in tha day "White LINES"...lets just say I'm glad he's not off that anymore. BUT THESE ARE THE BREAKS!

After All the bad Luck She's had with the Brothaz...I knew this was bound to happen.

Rumor has it that this ol' chip on the block is Kelly Rowland's new boy toy...oops..I mean..old boy toy. They say he is at least in his 50s but homie is caked up!

They won't let Blade Go!

Wesley Snipes Picture

I tell ya, first Ronald Isley...now this! Don't they have anything else better to do than to lock up someone who was behind on their taxes? The judge is ordering Snipes to surrender so he can do a three-year bid in prison for the IRS. Damn! We got people killing people for crying out loud!

Congrats to Kanye and Nicki!

Well first week sales are in..and these two didn't do bad at all. Kanye took the top of the billboard charts selling more than 500,000 copies, while Nicki took second with almost 400,000. Despite the rants and what the public thinks of him, Kanye is standing by his word and keeping us filled with G.O.O.D. Music. And despite the bubbling beef between Miss Minaj and Lil' Kim. Nicki has been spending time just celebrating and enjoying her success. Kim on the other hand, market-wise, this is her time to step in. Honestly, I really don't think Nicki cares, even besides that Black Friday diss that Kim put out.

TRAPPED In the Closet: Dialogue 1

I haven't been communicating that well with my girlfriend because things have been really frustrating for me about the way she has been acting. First off, let me take it back to my birthday. Me and this chick have two kids together and one of them was cheerleading for a little league football team. Me, being the parent I am, decide to help out and take my child to practice while they're lazy mother makes excuses for herself. Well I happen to meet another parent at practice and we talk like two adults, nothing more than that. So I go back home and tell my girl about how I met this parent at practice and how we talked. I tell her how this FEMALE needs a job and I would try to help her out because my job was hiring at the plant. A day after celebrating my birthday with my girl, she calls me up on the phone (While I'm at work, mind you)...cusses me out asking for her keys to her place and everything. I played calm because I didn't even know what the hell she was talking about. After she threw her temper tantrum, she finally told me that the parent I met at cheerleading practice was looking at her funny and she knows...because of my history that I had something to do with it.

Okay, Okay, I'll back up a lil' bit. Me and my girl had some bad times as far as she went with me and trust because of how I use to talk to or flirt with other females. In the midst of all that, we have come back together as one and realize what went wrong in our relationship. Therefore, in short terms, I'm not the same person I use to be.

Back to the story. So after I calm her down and tell her that the only contact I had with this person was by e-mail. Hell, I was even willing to show her and e-mail the girl just to prove I was telling the truth. But my girl still was upset and BAM! I didn't hear from her for three days. AND...it happened to be the weekend. It also happened to be the weekend the her other baby's father was coming down for a game (he's only been to one game and lives less than two hours away...hmmm?)

Finally, I call her on Sunday and everything was A okay! What the fuck? Am I missing something here. We talked about it. But she kept talking like everything was fine. This really bothered me because she said nothing about what went on over the course of those three days.

Do you think that anything happen? Or could she be hiding something?

Gucci Mane arrested, hospitalized and Jailed, Fake Rick Ross Signs Autographs, Weezy's Final Letter From Rikers

Guess Who's Headed back to Prison? BURR! BURR!

http://www.southernhospitality.co.uk/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/gucci-mane-our-kitchen-sink2.jpg

That's right! You guessed it! Georgia's Most Wanted...ah Gucci! The cops hauled him in for several different traffic violations such as driving in the wrong lane, failure to stop at a stop sign, no license, no insurance, and tons of other violations. Gucci was also sent to the hospital after cops had to restrain him with pepper spray. Around last month, there was a rumor that Gucci was checking himself into a rehab facility after his close friends and attorneys told him it was either that or jail. Prior to that, he spent six months in prison for violating his parole. What's up with all these rappers going BACK to jail? Do they actually think money is that powerful to where they are untouchable. WEEZY! I hope you're taking notes out there!

Speaking of Weezy!

http://www.contactmusic.com/pics/la/house_of_hype_070908/lil_wayne_2061961.jpg

Just two more days until they release Lil Tunechi from Rikers Island. And boy what a celebration that will be. Cash Money and Young Money Records put together a successful plan before Weezy went to the slammer. They shot several videos of him and released an EP that is currently number 1 on the billboard charts and is reaching gold status. This guy was the first to have a #1 album while in prison since Tupac's "Me Against the World." Anyway..here's his last letter to all his fans:

Hello world! My world! Our world!

As I greet you all in my last days on this island, I must reflect. I think back to when I first arrived and I had no clue of what I’d be experiencing. I was never scared, worried, nor bothered by the situation. For that, I thank God, my family, and you, my amazing fans. I prayed for you all every night, as I’m aware that I was in your prayers as well. The very first day that I received mail, it was about 300 pieces or more! I smiled like a child of Christmas. But when I began to read them, my heart smiled. I laughed with some of you, reasoned with some of you, and even cried with some of you. I responded to as many of you that time would allow. I plan to keep reading and responding after my release. I thank you all for being so very supportive, as I never imagined how much impact my words and life can have. With this knowledge, I vow to continue to be me! For you have assured time that I don’t have to change for no one but God. I will be the same Martian I was when I left, just better. You fans are more than amazing, and I will for to the end of the world for your love. This isn’t the last of weezythanxyou.com I will continue to thank you when I’m home.

I simple LOVE you all.

P.S. Thanx for supporting my YM team the way you do!!

Now I like to thank my wonderful family and friends for never letting me down. Your love and support is worth the world. I am grateful for you all and I couldn’t have done it without your love. Also, I thank everyone who came to visit me. That s**tmeant a lot, straight up! I would do the same, if not more for you.

Now I must dedicated something to the woman in the picture…

…sitting on this bed with my back against one of the four walls I’ve been confined to, all I can think of is you. Staring at you staring at me, from the picture of you that I see. I try so hard to make the picture smile. You look so serious. Seriously beautiful. You, me, we are one. Then I look further to the right and there’s a picture of “the bed by the water”… where I dream to be with the woman in the picture that still won’t smile. I sometimes talk to the picture, but it never responds. Although, I’ve been told that a picture speaks a thousands words, I only wish that this picture would speak of four… “I love you too.” That would be the perfect response to what I frequently say to it. You see, the picture of “the bed by the water” has sand in it, and the woman in the other picture has sand in her hair… put them together, and she’s there. And when I dream, I’m there with her. Shhh… quietly these four walls become that place in the picture. And the woman in the picture begins to whisper… “I love you too”… she responds!

And now she smiles. Imagination is perfect.

Dedicated to the woman in the picture.

Gone!

Hip Hop Community Encourages others to Vote

http://www.printfree.com/Signs/Election%20Signs/Vote_low_ink.jpg
I must admit...I wasn't a big fan of voting because I didn't care about the government. However, when you get older, you start to realize a lot of things and how they don't make sense. Therefore, you sense a need in change. And although you might not get it, you still tried, along with the other majority who voted as well. Several rappers such as Jay Z, David Banner and Common have traveled around to encourage the youth to get out there and vote, in support of your community and President Barack Obama. It encouraged me this year! Let it encourage you! Or just simply vote DEMOCRATS!

Kid Cudi....I don't know what to say?!?

http://rayandblairsjournal.files.wordpress.com/2008/07/kid-cudly.jpg

Like Drake's mixtape, this kid is so far gone. If you click the link below, you will see Cudi lookin' lifeless as his bodyguard picks him up and tosses him into the back of an SUV. Is he still on liquid cocaine or what?

Aye Rick! Somebody's Imitating You!

http://eranostra.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/Rick-Ross.jpg

Some big ass fool was fooling college students walking around with a bodyguard that weighed less than him pretending to be the Bawse! If I was a celebrity and saw this on youtube of someone imitating me, I would crack up. And that's exactly what I did when I saw this video. Click the link below:
