Wow! It's amazing what a name, a rap career, and looks can do for some people. Sources say that a group that calls themselves, "Citizens of the State of Atlanta, Ga." has filed some court papers hoping to get Tip into rehab rather than do 11 months in prison. Rumor has it that this mystery group did a terrible job with grammar and spelling. After all their hard work, Tip is scheduled to turn himself in to authorities Nov. 1. Some say he has already checked himself into prison at Forrest City, Ark.
In other Tip news, L.A. has dropped the drug case against him, claiming there were significant legal issues over probable cause that led to Tip and his wife Tiny's arrest. In other words, they didn't have enough evidence to hit Tip with a drug charge. They claimed they smelled marijuana coming from the car (which they probably did), but they don't have the weed to prove it! So the crooked cops just believe that they have enough on Tip because he did violate his probation. READ THIS CAREFUL PEOPLE! Tip is not getting out of any jail time, he's still going, just won't have any more charges to deal with.
