It's Official



Well that's what everybody is calling it..OFFICIAL!  Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon finally announced that she is pregnant. Not that this is a surprise because the paparazzi has been clicking away at Mariah since earlier this year because of speculations. I just can't believe Mariah's 41! Oh yeah, it also came out that she was pregnant three years ago but suffered a miscarriage. For some reason, this couple has me cheering them on in their corner. I like to see celebrity couples that beat the odds and have a long lasting marriage. Congrats Mariah and Nick! I hope that the baby gets Mariah's music career and not Nick's!

Jay Z and Kanye will make an album instead of an EP



Ye said that instead of doing a five track CD, he and Jay will do an entire album together. I believe it will be called, "Watch the Throne." For some reason, I figured this would happen. I mean, who would only wanna hear a five-track album with two of the greatest emcees? That's like leaving you starving when you're still hungry.

Don't Spray the Wall!



Travis McCoy was arrested Wednesday (Oct. 27) in Germany after police caught him spray painting the Berlin Wall, which is a no no! Then he posted a picture of it on his twitter page. I guess some people think that's cool. Who knows!

Falling Into Fashion 2010

Summer was so nice wearing the leggings, tank tops, and not to mention the all time favorite bohemian dresses. Now that the weather is changing it’s time to find what are the must-haves for the fall. I attended UK’s homecoming  and looking around I realized that half of the place was in fall clothing and the other half still was hoping for the fourth of July weather! To all my ladies and fellas that wanna stay up on the latest fashions, listen closely to the Fall Do’s and Don’ts for the upcoming season:

Ladies this season is all about covering up! Whether it’s a suit jacket, an oversized grey H & M sweater, or just some simple black tights to complete that mini skirt you have been dying to wear! Here are the top 3 must haves for the “chilly weather” at an affordable price.

1) “Boyfriend Blazer” ($29.99) Target

 

I absolutely love this  jacket because you can do so many things with it! If you are just doing Saturday shopping in the mall you can throw this on with some jeans and cute flats without carrying around a heavy jacket. We all hate doing that! Or you can even make the jacket scream “She looks hot!” by putting it over that little black dress and completing the outfit with a platform shoe to go out on the town with your girls. 

 

2) “Jeggings” ($17.80) Forever 21

        

I'm almost positive that these will never go out of style. Jeggings have been around now forever even back in the Shakespeare and Renaissance days when men where sporting them. Glad that trend didn’t follow us to this century! They have come out with Jeggings, which is basically another term for leggings. Just like the boyfriend blazer, you can dress up or keep them in a simple outfit, but my favorite thing about jeggings is that you can wear them year round. So ladies if they are on sale, Go for it!!! Fashion caution: Jeggings are not for everyone and they are true to size, so ladies be mindful…Avoid wearing with short tops or even sheer shirts. Jeggings and leggings can be a tragedy so don’t get caught by the fashion police!

3) “Military Boot” ($69.99) Baker Shoes

 
“Left, left…Left, right, left!” Yeah you heard me right. Fashion is like a revolving door and I remember once when the army fatigue fad was going so hard that it was hard to break away. Well the army style is back and  I must say I like what I see. The hottest thing to hit the store is the military boots either flat or with a 3 ½ inch heel. Now everyone can’t pull this look off, but if you think you can then be my guess. Everyone one from Rihanna, Beyonce, Christina Milian, and other celebrities are rockin’ this trend. It gives you that edgy, rock star look, while still being a lady. Wear these boots with some skinny jeans and an oversized shirt and everyone will be checkin’ you! I admit you have to have the confidence to wear these and they are a bit pricey if you are looking for quality boots, but you will definitely be a trendsetter!

F.L.Y. Recipe

Spazonya



This is my own lil' version of a combination of making spaghetti and lasagna. Can you pronounce correctly now? SPA-ZON-YA! I made this earlier this week and my roommate said it was off tha chain. Real quick and easy. The prep time is about 10-15 minutes and let it stay in the oven for about 45 minutes to an hour. Of course you can flip this your own way, but here's what I put into it.

Ingredients:
Spaghetti sauce
Italian Sausages
Mozzarella cheese
Parmesan Cheese
Mushrooms
Ricotta Cheese
Chopped Onions
Chopped Green Peppers
Linguine Noodles
Hamburger Meat (or turkey...if you're not a veggie)


Directions:
Boil noodles with butter, a pinch of salt and pepper in the water


Season hamburger meat to your desire and fry it in a pan...along with the chopped up onions and green peppers...then fry your Italian sausages (I cut mine up into slices)


When the noodles are done boiling, drain them and empty them into a pot or pan of your desire


When the hamburger meat is done, drain the grease and then apply a spaghetti sauce of your choice, and mushrooms


Take your meat sauce and pour it on top of the noodles, then apply ricotta cheese and parmesan cheese...top if off with mozzarella cheese


Bake in the oven at 400 for 45 minutes to an hour.
