Happy Hump Day! I'm still WINNING over this way, and I'm gonna keep it like that for 2011 and beyond baby! Thanks to all of my followers at twitter who have supported me (follow me @MrElvisFreshley) and all of my facebook users as well (Mr. Pinkston). Here's the latest buzz that I have today for all of you WINNERS out there..........and even LOSERS can read to, if they like.
LiL' Kim....SMH
I keep shaking my head over this female vs. female beef because Kim and a lot of these other female rappers still don't get that TOGETHER, they can make money! Remember the song "Ladies Night" with all the popular female rap and R&B artists? Hell, they even through Angie Martinez' ass in there for kicks. But the women went crazy when that came out. Imagine if Lil' Kim and Nicki Minaj made a "Best of Both Worlds" album together. You think it wouldn't generate any buzz or go platinum? Anyway, I looked at some footage of Kim's "Black Friday" video shoot and really didn't get it. I mean, if you're gonna make a diss song, it should a diss video to go along with it. From the clips I seen, it looked like she had a bunch of little nieces and nephews out in New York who eagerly wanted to be in a video together. If Kim wants to WIN, stop talking about taking people's social security numbers when cameras a few years back caught your car being repossessed! And another thing, leave Mary J. Blidge out of it! And Now you're mad at Keisha Cole for doing a song with Nicki!? Why? She's hot right now, just like you use to be. C'Mon Kim! Be a WINNER! Click below to see what I'm talking about.

Nicki Minaj goes Platinum!
Back on the WINNING track, congrats to Nicki Minaj is who officially certified platinum after six weeks since her album dropped.
VH1 to premiere "Love & Hip Hop" March 21
I put Flav's pick up here because I blame him. I blame him for all these damn love-reality shows that we have seen over the years on VH1. I also congratulate him as well because he's turned VH1's program around and has boosted their viewers up over the past several years. Here ye'! Here ye'! VH1 will now follow the lives of former G-Unit First Lady Olivia and jump off Somaya Reece's singing careers as they try to make it in the music business. They will also follow the girlfriends of Fabolous (Emily Bastamante) and Jim Jones (Chrissy Lampkin) to see how it is dating a rapper and if they are ready to settle down. I hate to say it but...I'll probably be watching this sh*t!
On the Remix!!!!
That's right...Tha homie Cee-Lo is rumored to be teaming up with Gwyneth Paltrow for a remix of his hit single "F*ck You." Word is...he was very impressed after she performed it on the hit TV show Glee. This will be very interesting, and I can't wait to hear it!
Trouble in the Young Money camp with Shannell? I hope not!
I'm hearing that there might be some female issues between Nicki Minaj and the very oh-so-sexy Shannell. I would consider Shannell is a rock artist rather than an r&b artist, but she can sing and is a very talented songwriter. She even helped Weezy garner out some hits on his rock album "Rebirth." However, I must admit, while I was trying to keep up with all the Young Money members on BET's 106&Park on New Year's Eve, it seemed like the entire camp was there except Shannell. What's up with that? Only thing I can think of is that maybe she had more important engagements to attend. Who knows? But I'm also hearing that Wayne wanted Shannell to do some vocals on Nicki's Pink Friday album, and you know Nicki wasn't having that. Hope all is well with Shannell. But I'm interested to see when we will be hearing from her again.
A 20-year-old Millionaire/Entrepreneur! Oh No! Soulja Boy didn't fall off one bit!
First off, I wouldn't be winning if I didn't admit when I was wrong. My apologies to Soulja Boy for coming off in a bit of a slanderish way when I seen that his album only sold 13 or 14,000 in its first week. However, I will give credit to my homie Joe Budden and "JumpoffTV.com" who opened up my eyes after hearing their discussion about it. The truth is, Soulja Boy can afford to sell 13 or 14,000 albums because his revenue is ridiculous with other things that he's involved in. It all starts with the music first, but if you expand your brand the way this kid did in just two or three years, I believe you will have longevity in this game. Check out the link below to see if you agree.

That's all I have for today folks! Stay F.L.Y., Fresh, and WINNING!
Happy Tuesday folks! Just found out that I'll be taking a five-day layoff from the J.O.B., but guess what? I'm still winning! Don't really have any new resolutions for this new year other than WINNING! I refuse to lose. So when bad news comes my way, I take it all in stride and come out victorious at the end. Enough about me winning, lets get into some of these crazy celebrity news that have come across my path.
A GUCCI!
Looks like Gucci might face 17-month sentence for violating his probation back in November after scuffling with the police and several driving infractions. Word is, to avoid a felony prison sentence, Gucci's lawyers have asked for a plea of mental incompetency. Therefore, Mr. "Burr!" will be accompanied to a mental health facility to check on his conditions. Man! The hip hop police started before the new year even jumped off! We'll just have to see if Gucci is really in no state to "intelligently" in a probation hearing.
Damn Wacka 2?!?!
It just don't stop with Gucci. Fellow 1017 Bricksquad label mate Wacka Flocka turned himself in to police headquarters in Georgia stemming from police raiding his home in mid-December. And what did the po po's find you ask? A small little ounce of marijuana, a couple of guns, and suspicion of gang activity. Word is..he was being held on a $30,000 bond. Dang! If Gucci and Wacka both go down at the same time, O.J. Da Juiceman and Frenchie are gonna have to step their game up and keep 1017 Bricksquad afloat. I wonder who the hip hop cops will target or go after next?
"Down goes Frazier!"
It looks like Game and Rass Kass got into it again. The Game took the action from being a physical altercation, to a discussion on twitter. He claims that he gave Rass a good two-piece nugget meal. See for yourself! And doesn't Rass look like Ja Rule's older brother or something? Just sayin!
Soulja Boy takes credit for Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair" song...WTH?
I'll give him credit business-wise. Cause those albums sales ain't cuttin' it homie. Soulja Boy had tweeted that he wrote the lyrics for Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair" song, which means big time money. But what Soulja Boy forgot to tell us is that he put a stamp on his Jay-Z-like lyrics of "hop up out tha bed, turn my swag on" and gets a paycheck for that. However, give real credit where it is do. And that credit belongs to Janae Rockwell and Ronald "Jukebox" Jackson. Nice try SOULJER!
BAWSE!
Rick Ross, a.k.a. "Ricky Rozay," a.k.a. "Teflon Don" announced that he will have a new album droping in the fourth quarter of 2011 titled, "God Forgives, I Don't." Hope the Bawse! gives Gunplay his chance to shine and some others on the Maybach music label. I know the Bawse! is hot right now, but I don't wanna see him get cold soon either.
A Cougar Congrats goes to..........
A cougar congrats goes out to 46-year-old Vivica Fox who recently got engaged to party promoter boyfriend Omar "Slimm" White, who is 27. Damn! He must be knockin' the dust off that padu**y! Anybody remember her being married to some R&B dude name 6'9"? Moral of the question is....it didn't last long.
Christina Christina! Check out her photo shoot for a Latina Magazine!

They always say, if you gonna cheat, cheat with someone that's a dime compared to your main chick. I don't think dream did that. And I like the fact that she said she feels more sexy after becoming a mother. Whew!
Jazmine Sullivan leaving the music industry
After busting windows out of cars and giving men 10 seconds before she blew them up, Jazmine "I'm Always Angry" Sullivan took to her twitter account and tweeted fans that she will be taking a break from music in order to find herself. I know I'm not the only dude that spotted this talented voice as having some PROBLEMS. The weird thing is, she tried to delete her tweet, but it was too late. Here is was she tweeted:
“I'm making an official announcement that i am taking a break from music. i’m trying to figure out who i am… w/out a mike, paper or pen,” tweeted the 23-year-old. “i promised myself that when it wasn’t fun anymore i wouldn’t do it. and here i am. i’m not saying i wont ever sing again in my life becuz i dont believe that. but in this moment… rt now… i got some things to figure out.”
Guess Who's Signed to G.O.O.D Music?
That's right. I'm getting word that Yeezy inked Wu Tang Clan member Raekwon to his G.O.O.D Music label. Now that's what I call winning!
Top of the New Year folks! Hope everyone's NYE celebrations were just as good as mine! Rule number one for me this year, I can't hate on anybody, I can only slander them. Second, I'm winning, and most of ya'll mad cuz ya'll aint't!
Now I know I'm late with this, but here are my top picks of "What A Year I Had in 2010"....if you have anymore you can think of, please send them my way. I also had some help courtesy of tha homie, Mr. Ed Lover's C'Mon Son 2010 wrap up. LEGGO!
(These are in no typical order)
1) Nicki Minaj
This chick is definitely having her moment for life. Regardless of whether you are on the "Team Barbie" train or not, Nicki Minaj has surpassed all of the haters, and is WINNING! As jealous as you Lil' Kim fans may be, Nicki has sold more than 700,000 copies of her rookie release album "Pink Friday" and is approaching platinum status quickly. She weathered the storm when so-called underground female rappers attempted to expose her and take her shine, held her own as she rapped beside Jay Z and Kanye West in a sold out New York Yankee stadium, and most of all, literally shredded "Old Woman" Lil Kim into pieces, taking some of her fans with her. Talk about ghost writers, talk about the butt, or whatever else, but her records and numbers speak for themselves.
2) Antoine Dodson
He's still telling everybody in the world to go "Run and Tell that Homeboy!" Yes! That's right! Antoine Dodson had one hell of a ride in 2010 as he took the world by storm with his famous news interview in the projects about how he rescued his sister from almost being raped in their own residence. Two white guys got a hold of the interview and turned it into a song, next thing you know, late night talk shows, dozens of TV and party appearances, a new house for his family, a #1 rated itunes song, Halloween Costumes, a predator cell phone application, and a fresh laced perm! Congrats Antoine!
3) Eddie Long
Yes....the bishop did win in his own right. What people may not realized is, those incidents of those grown ass men who were grown ass teenage boys old enough to say no, but couldn't resist his lavish gifts, Eddie Long wins like Michael Jackson won back in the day with his cases against little boys. And you asked what did that do for MJ? Made him relevant in the news again, more money, more attention, and showed us how to pay off some ol' debts that could come back to haunt us. Eddie Long followed MJ's formula all the way through and it has become successful for him. WINNER!
4) Kat Stacks BEECH!
I'd like to congratulate this hoe for making me a believer. I must admit, even all those little books Superhead wrote still didn't have me convinced that rappers and other celebrities were that stupid to fool with a chick with her type of caliber. But Kat Stacks showed me the light on all of you dumb ass rappers and the reason why it isn't safe for groupies anymore. Groupies, please be aware that 90 percent of these rappers are not getting their nuts checked on a regular basis. Therefore, after you let these guys insert one in you, don't go back and smash some regular nigga and then have him spread something to somebody else. Thanks for making me believe Kat Stacks! A hoe gonna get hers!
5) 50 Tyson
When I first saw this dude, I knew something was wrong. But others just continued to laugh anyway. Well guess what, this guy is really something special because he's laughing all the way to the bank! With a combination of looks of 50 Cent and Mike Tyson, add a lil' rap behind that, you got 50 Tyson. His youtubes view went crazy after someone realized that he was autistic but still could hold a flow, well.....kind of...LOL..Congrats 50 Tyson!
6) George Bush
Oh you think he didn't win, guess again! When BushWACK made a TV appearance and pronounced Kanye West as "Conway West," that was classic! And not to mention that wack ass book that he has out talking about how much he f*cked up the country. He's still laughing all the way to the bank, that's why he's a winner in my eyes! Congrats George!
6) Kanye West
That's right, "Yeezy Taught Me!" Like him or not, and if you like country, who gives a crap, I would love to be in this guy's position. One of the most hated rap villains by white public America and he still drops yet another classic album and is also approaching platinum status. And he did it after breaking up with on of the coldest bald-headed white chicks in the game, Amber a.k.a. "Yeezy Taught Me" Rose.
7) Delonte West and Lebron James
"So I'm taking my talents....and MY MOMS to South Beach Miami," is what Lebron should have said while he had everyone waiting an hour to make a decision he already knew about months prior. As far as Delonte, you won, cause Lebron didn't whoop yo' ass after banging his mom! Congrats to both!
CONGRATS TO ALL! See Ya in 2011!
Wutz good folks! Hope everyone's Christmas was as good as mine. Looking forward to new year because this one has been a mess for me, personally speaking. It was also a sad Christmas for some after finding out that R&B legend Teena Marie died at the tender age of 54. If you didn't know who Teena Marie was and just listened to her voice, you would say, "Man! This sista's got soul!" Only to find out that she's not a "sista," she was actually the Motown's first white female to ever be signed to the label. Some of her hit songs were "Square Biz," "I Need Your Lovin'," and the popular "Fire and Desire" featuring Rick James. No drugs of any sort were found in her system. They believe she died of natural causes. Although someone said she had suffered a seizure recently. You will be forever missed Teena and I know they will appreciate that soulful voice of yours in heaven. She had one daughter who I believe is in her late teens to early 20s.
R.I.P. Teena!

Trick Love tha Kids, but not Taxes
Man I tell ya! These rappers and their taxes. Country, pop, Rock, and R&B music must be doing something right, because you don't hear those artists in the headlines dealing with taxes. Our latest rapper to join the "I Owe Taxes" bunch is Trick Daddy. Sources from the Detroit News says the rapper owes the IRS around $157,000 in back taxes from 2002. They even put a lien out on his wife. The IRS are worse than the hip hop police! Here's a list of other entertainers that the IRS have targeted: Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Obie Trice, Method Man, Eve, DMX, Nas, Swizz Beatz, Doug E. Fresh, Mos Def, Beanie Sigel, Wyclef, Hammer, Lil Kim, Big Boi, Fat Joe, D12, Young Buck.
G-Dep What Happened?
I'm not even gonna call this stupidity. I'm just gonna call it as God's calling and God's will. Former Bad Boy artist G-Dep recently turned himself into police and admitted that he shot and robbed a 32-year-old man. However, there was only one problem to this. G-Dep claims he didn't realize that the guy he shot had died. Well dig this, the victims brother is calling G-Dep an idiot for turning himself in. According to G-Dep's lawyer, the confession comes from a 12-step anti-drug program. Wonder what other excuse he's gonna have. Damn shame. Believe what you wanna believe. Here's a video of one of his close friends explaining why Dep snitched on himself. Click on the link below:

The Game Robbed on Christmas Eve
After a nice day of shopping at the Westfield Topanga Mall in Canoga Park, Ca., the game returned to his car to find that $75,000 worth of jewelry and other items had been stolen. Game went on a twitter rant, accusing the valet people at the mall conducting some sort of stealing scheme. He also dissed the cops about him being patted down and questioned after explaining to him that he was the victim of a crime. Well, I guess it's no more leaving jewelry in the car for you Game.
Gotti Says, "Don't Believe Everything You Read"
Lil' Wayne has a lot of people wondering who will be the next artist added to his Young Money roster. Several artists have been brought to the attention, but Yo Gotti took most of the spotlight. He was the most popular artist to be rumored of making that move. However, you can't exhale all of that out because I don't think that's happening. Not saying that Gotti isn't cool with YMCMB, but a few years back, he already said that he just had a distribution deal with Cash Money Records. Not sure if this is still true now, but it was then. And I really don't see anybody like him signing to a major label after enjoying a nice independent label that Gotti has got going for himself for years. Hustlers like him and Lil' Boosie usually don't make moves like this. I'm still sticking with Chris Brown as the new Young Money artist!
X's Wife Takes Up for his latest Run-In with the Po Po's
So we all know that DMX has headed back to the slammer in Arizona and is sporting those famous pink prison clothes they must wear. But his wife (not sure what to call her status anymore) claims that X was set up. Here's a quote she recently said about the incident:
"He only had three weeks left [of probation], and they set him up. Because he was in a rehab that they put him in because he was driving dirty, and they gave him permission to go do a show. How do you give someone that's supposed to be in a rehab permission to do a show? It was a set-up, and then X, I can't even believe that he even took a drink knowing the situation."
Whatever! I believe she has some issues too. Still waitin' on that book that she is supposedly dropping.
R.I.P. to Carmelo Anthony's Sister
I told ya this year has been a tough year with losses. Melo's sister Michelle, recently died of a pre-existing medical condition she had. Prayers are with Melo and his family.
LATEST BEEF STEW COOKIN': Wale vs. Bossman
Wale is very pissed that he can't go home and do a concert without his hometown dissin' him. Apparently, Bossman is some local rapper out of the Baltimore area who has some issues with Wale and possibly Gucci. I'm not for sure how this all started. But I do know that Wale called in some radio station and was pissed for them fueling the situation. However, Bossman is still standing by his word of not really liking Wale. Teairra Marie + Steam Room = Boobies
I'm not gonna lie, I've been wanting to actually see her body for a long time. R&B singer Teairra Marie had tweeted a photo of her in the steam room, TOPLESS! Now if she could only show the rest.
Rap Battle of the Month: Hitman Holla vs. Arsonal
This battle was one of the most highly anticipated battles at the end of the year with Hitman Holla vs. Arsonal. These two battled on SMACK URL and gave the crowd a decent performance. Although I must say, Hitman captured 2 out of the 3 rounds. See for yourself and be your own judge:

Until Next time, stay F.L.Y. and definitely FRESH! HOLLA! (Frankie's voice)
How are you and Mr. Mike's relationship now?
Peezy: A lot has changed, but we're still cool. Music-wise, I think he has gone in another direction. I've tried to reach out to him on occasions, but you can tell when someone is no longer interested in working with you. And I don't mean that in a bad way. We're just in different lanes now. If given the opportunity again, I would love to work with him. Wut up M R DOT!
Lets talk about your relationships with females a little. Are you single?
Peezy: Currently I am.
Are you looking for a special woman at this time, or is that on hold?
Peezy: I'm not looking for anything right now. Since my last relationship ended, I realized that I lost touch with God and everything else that was important to me that I was missing in my life. The break-up was hard because it left me with saying, "I have three daughters (one who is not biologically mine) and no woman to show for it."
How many serious relationships have you had?
Peezy: Four.
And how did the last one come to an end?
Peezy: First and foremost, I got mad respect for both of my daughters mothers. They deserve a good man and a husband, just as I deserve a good woman and a wife. However, with the last one, in my personal opinion, she could not get over my past and what happened.
What happened in the past?
Peezy: Like every man does, I cheated. I say that jokingly, but I believe it to be a true and known fact. I cheated on this person about 3 or 4 years ago and because of that, it wore on the relationship and made it turn for the worse. I saw this person turn into a completely different person than who I had met the first time, and we were living together so that made it worse. I wanted to go out and cheat several more times but I didn't because I really did love her unconditionally. But for everything that I tried to do right and live by the so-called "rule book," it didn't work with her. Whether it was from the bedroom, to just having the same chick I got wit', it wasn't the same. Therefore, when other chicks would show me the kind of attention I wasn't getting at home, it was easy to be flirtatious with them. We hung in there, and now that I am a changed man (for the better), she still doesn't wanna do the family thing and live together. She wants to live separately and date. But you can only do that for so long. You either want it, or you don't.
Why do you think that is?
Peezy: Honestly, I began to have somewhat local success in my rap career in Huntington. I was doin' shows, you had groupies comin' at you every night, girls sending me naked pictures on my phone and dirty text messages. It was like I was the new kid on the block. Then, on the other hand, I had a woman at home who really didn't have any friends there, just had a baby not too long ago, and she only knew people that I knew primarily. She didn't have a social life like mine and I was her only crutch she could depend on at that time.
What type of success did you have at that time that might have ruined your relationship with this person?
Peezy: I released a mixtape called "A Gangsta and A Gentleman" produced by Mr. Mike that was hittin' heavy, it caught the attention of E1 Music (formerly known as Koch Records) and they wanted me to do an EP for them. If the EP was a success, then I would get a distribution deal from them.
So was the EP a success?
Peezy: If it was, I don't think I would be sittin' here man! (Laughs). That EP went terribly wrong!
For what reasons?
Peezy: First off, the record label gave me a certain amount of time to have my EP complete and turned in to them. I let Mr. Mike handle all of the production. But I felt like I was under so much pressure with making hit songs and depending on people to come and jump on a verse that it just didn't work out. I went back to my hometown Lex and I thought that a lot of the local rappers down there would hop on my songs, but I thought wrong and that was a big mistake. When they would tell me that they were gonna do a song with me, I would tell the label could they extend the deadline date. That was a no-no. But you live and you learn.
Why do you think those local artists in Lexington didn't reach out to you?
Peezy: For one, I wasn't living in Lexington anymore. Two, they didn't know Peezy, they knew Antwon Pinkston. When I left for college, a lot of those cats who rap now there stayed back, so they never knew how I came to be. I will give a major shoutout to Yung Lex and Decypha because they have supported me throughout the years, and got a few tracks.
Do you think there was any other reason they didn't reach out?
Peezy: It could be. Maybe because they think I'm not good enough. Or maybe because I have a professional job, not always out on the streets, don't live with my moms, and basically can support myself without having to have a reputation of just being "The Rapper" from my town. Truth is, it can be frustrating at times when I look at some of these dudes who I have known since middle school, and now all of a sudden, they hard, they move weight, sellin' keys, this and this. I call'em Soulja Boys. You can fool the people from other states, and you can have your riders that sweat you just in case you get on, but you can't fool me playboy.
Are you talking about anyone in particular?
Peezy: I'm talkin' bout the ones who are supposedly sellin' breaks, being signed to major labels without a real deal, wears expensive brands, but doesn't have a place to call his own. Period.
So what are your plans music-wise now?
Peezy: I've been on both ends of the stick with music, positive and negative stuff. Now I'm just doin' it for fun. Not looking to perform, get signed or anything, but I wanna do the kind of music that makes me happy. I'm sick of trying to please everyone else. I'm puttin' out "The Life & Times of Mr. Elvis Freshley" hopefully sometime at the beginning of the new year.
Why that title?
Peezy: Because that's what I go by and I am hellafied fresh! I'm only releasing this on the net. You can expect to hear everything. But don't expect to hear a lot of features or support at that. Like I said, I'm doin' this for fun. I'm not gonna sell myself some hoop dreams like some of these other cats I know.
What about outside of music?
Peezy: Right now I got this F.L.Y. Society blog going on right now. I'm eventually branching it out to form my own website called "Corporate Swag Society." It's a site that will be designed to give you everything in one. From celeb news, hip hop artists local and nationally, poetry, fashion, and soul food recipes. I haven't seen that on Allhiphop.com, HipHopDX, or Worldstarhiphop. I'm just trying to set new trends in my own way.
Anything else you trying to do?
Peezy: Yeah, I'm still continuing to get closer to God and have a better relationship with him. I'm 29, people don't realize how much you need him until you're on your last chance, I refuse to do that. I'm never gonna be perfect, but I wanna live right and do right in his eyes. At the end of the day, can't nobody, including my family, friends can judge me like he does.
